Once you have played 10 D-League games, you can Apply for the Draft and be picked up by a VBA Team. You can opt to leave the D-League Early (before your 10 games) but if you get released from a team that drafts you you MUST wait in line for the D-League to complete your 10 games and you ma not leave early again. Be sure that you workout with the team that drafts you because if that team Waives you (and you have completed your 10 DL games) you can't be drafted again for 2 week, you are listed as "On Waivers" (2 Weeks), that team ALSO can not fill that position or use that player for two weeks.. You can be traded, in which case you can play again right away.

New players must go to the waiting list for their turn to go to the D-League and play their 10 games before being drafted for a team.
